As a result, they have trouble moving. Their movements are much slower than they used to be, and they often have to deal with tremors in their hands. Parkinson's disease, which tends to affect men more often than women, has possible genetic and environmental factors. There's no known cure, and symptoms worsen over time. Past age sixty, an individual's chances of having Parkinson's disease increases, but it can still happen to individuals who are younger.
